What we think:
Love Osmanthus opens with a sunny bright lemon that's sweet yet has a little bit of an astringent bitterness around the edges at the same time, with apricot-like osmanthus spreading in and a sweet cloud of musk. It's not as thick as osmanthus as a note sometimes can be, and has less of the leathery apricot vibe of it. For being in the title, we wouldn't say the osmanthus is nearly as dominant as you might expect; if anything it's more lemony for us. As it progresses, a cozy calm cedar comes out.
