The Original Concept
How We Decide What to Stock
1. Fragrances going on "Best Of" lists. Our curated collections help guide what we carry, with an emphasis on fragrances that stand out within each category.
2. Fragrances requested by customers. We monitor restock notifications and direct customer requests when deciding what to add or restock.
3. New releases from major niche fragrance houses that stand out or seem likely to be popular.
4. Rare or discontinued fragrances. We’re always on the lookout for new finds from brands like DS & Durga, Comme des Garcons, Aesop, and Diptyque.
We try to stock a mix of customer favorites, exciting new releases, and fragrances that are hard to find elsewhere!
Our Love for Fragrance
One of the things we love about fragrance is that it can represent so many different things to different people. Some people want to feel attractive with a suave vanilla perfume. Some want to feel professional with a crisp vetiver cologne, while others want to feel energized by a bright burst of orange blossom. Some want to smell like a wild horse in a barn (yes, really!) while others just want to smell like clean laundry.
In our opinion, there's no one right way to enjoy fragrance. You don't even have to wear it to enjoy it! There are fragrances we love that we rarely even wear, and enjoy owning just to be able to smell.
We want to provide a welcoming place for everyone, whether you're deep into avant-garde niche and indie fragrances or just looking for an easy everyday wear.
Our Values
1. We love giving customers a fun experience! From free sample deals to our rewards program and curated "Best Of" lists, we want to offer a fun way to sample fragrances. Customer service is also extremely important to us - if we make a mistake, we aim to go above and beyond to make it right. (All we ask is that customers read the FAQs and shipping policy before ordering!)
2. Supporting charity and causes. Some of the organizations we donate to have included GiveDirectly, Water.org, CHIRLA, Action Against Hunger, Outright International, and Support + Feed.
3. Being mindful about where we source our materials from. We prioritize small businesses and suppliers whose practices align with our values.
4. Being environmentally conscious. The perfume industry can create a lot of waste, so we look for ways to reduce our environmental impact. We buy carbon offset credits from COTAP, a nonprofit that helps reduce carbon emissions while creating income for rural farming communities. We also prioritize recyclable, recycled, and biodegradable packaging materials when possible!
5. Respecting workers. We believe people should be compensated fairly for their work and treated with respect.
