According to the official product description, Pearl Leather Eau de Parfum is based on the idea of a "luxurious vacation in southern Italy." Obviously a very common fragrance inspiration, but this does smell more unique than the typical "Italian vacation-inspired" fragrance. It's leathery and aquatic at the same time!
The leather here is saffron and vinyl-like, not too animalic. It almost feels like we can smell beach umbrellas and beach chair material! The watery notes feel more like a pool than an ocean to us, but not in a bad way at all. There's a touch of sweetness, and freshness that keeps it from being too dark or intense. The castoreum and tobacco give it an edge, but aren't the focal point of the fragrance.
