What we think:
Ardent is very appealing! The vanilla is done perfectly - it doesn't smell sugary gourmand over the top or synthetic, just so smooth and refined yet delicious. Ardent has a nice smoky vanilla woodsy vibe to it overall, and that works very well with the amber, labdanum, and benzoin. The rose here isn't too intense either.
Bottom line: Ardent is a nice smooth unisex cold weather scent. And while it's still expensive, it's at least less pricey than some other Boadicea the Victorious fragrances.
