What we think:
Bois des Iles is powdery, creamy sandalwood with a resinous coziness, and a swirl of uplifting aldehydic ylang ylang. It smells very high quality, and it's immediately obvious that it's a Chanel fragrance from the first sniff! The more we smell it, the more we like it.
We will likely not be restocking once we're sold out, as Chanel sometimes sends notes to decant sites!
