Vaquera EDT is a new scent that feels like a perfume you once knew, then forgot, and have just stumbled upon in the back of a clearance shelf. Inspired by the scent of fragrance ads in 90s magazines, the scent of freshly dried hair after a shower, the scent of your childhood car’s air conditioning, and the metallic sparkle of a summer fountain, with mystery and nostalgia.

Top notes: lavender, tomato leaf, a permanent marker accord and blackcurrant berries
Heart notes: clary sage, iris and solar rose
Base: styrax resin, sandalwood, oakmoss and suede

What we think:

To us, it really does smell like the things mentioned in the brand's description! If we just looked at the notes list, we wouldn't really know what to expect. But with Vaquera, it blends into creating a whole new scent, not just smelling like a mix of those notes. It smells nostalgic yet not dated, and has a "je ne sais quois" to it while still being super wearable.

As one of our favorite fragrance houses, we're so glad Comme des Garcons is coming out with more new fragrances again!
