Dior Hypnotic Poison (EDP) Sample

What we think:

We like Hypnotic Posion Eau de Parfum a lot! We think the Eau de Toilette version is perfectly decent and elegant, but it's not a love for us. However, the Eau de Parfum version smells more hypnotic to us than the EDT by far, not even close. We like the almondy vanilla mix here, and we get a kind of burnt rubber note that makes it smell surprisingly interesting and kind of niche, probably from the licorice (even though we normally don't enjoy licorice). The white florals float around the other notes and seem to meld with the tonka type of accord,  creating a slight powderiness and not cloying like certain white florals can sometimes get.

Hypnotic Posion EDP is sultry and intriguing and we find it surprisingly unique for a designer scent.
