What we think:

If you're normally avoidant of oud, no need to be scared of this fragrance. The oud here is extremely clean and wearable, and just a deep rich woods - no animalic/barnyard vibes in sight. The way the oud works with the other notes almost turns into a plum or almost red wine-like accord to us. Mercurial Cashmere is sweet and smooth, but with a lot of depth. We would say it's slightly feminine-leaning, but still very easily unisex overall.

The florals here just smell like a bright sweetness, not like a cloying bouquet, so you also don't have to be a diehard floral fan to appreciate it. It smells very well-blended and regal, yet pleasant and appealing in an approachable way at the same time. It's well done, and there's a bit of a uniqueness to it - it has a designer-y softness to the scent profile (ie: without rough edges), but with a niche quality, which is a nice combination.
