What we think:
Santal Calling is a cozy, comforting, soft take on sandalwood with smooth iris, rose, and vanilla, and a milkiness to it. Even if you're not normally a fan of iris or rose, the way they're done here works really well without them stealing the show as they're sometimes prone to doing in other scents.
Mysore sandalwood is usually the more creamy soft kind, but the other notes here end up having that affect on the Australian sandalwood used, so it doesn't smell like pencil shavings or too sharply woodsy. The vibe here is more milky, and it's also powdery, but in a soft way. It's like if you took the style of sandalwood in Santal 33 and removed some of the leatheriness and made it more creamy.
