Originally released in 1912, L'Heure Bleue Eau de Parfum is a classic vintage scent with a melancholic yet bright, deep yet airy violet. A sweet side (but done in a serious way) is brought out by florals and citrus early on, and then continued with vanilla/benzoin in the drydown. It's very powdery from florals, tonka, and slightly from sandalwood interacting with other notes, but done artfully. It also has some smooth warm spice that doesn't go too over the top, and a creaminess to it.
