Parfum Prissana Tirtha Sample

What we think:

Tirtha is so good and we absolutely love it. It's one of those scents where discovering it makes us feel like, this is what we smell so many things for! To hit on the experience of a scent like this that makes us feel a visceral wowed reaction.

To us it's all about spiritual incense, smoky woods (but in a calm smoldering way, not a huge fire), smooth aldehydes, slightly soapy florals like champaca, warm spice, and some dark green elements. It reminds us of a combination of 3 other fragrances that are also loves for us: Zoologist Tyrannosaurus Rex, Filippo Sorcinelli Violon Basse, and Couteau de Poche Fumabat.

Stunning quality, spiritual (which is what it's going for and related to what the word means in Sanskrit), and a rare 5 out of 5 for us. If you like spiritual incense fragrances, even if you normally don't like a lot of the notes in this one, we highly recommend it! This has some notes that we would often dislike in other contexts, but the way it's blended here supercedes a lot of the individual notes. Though if you hate incense, we'd skip it of course.
