What we think:
Opus 1870 does spicy, woodsy, sweet, and incense together very well, which is much easier said than done. Often fragrances can pull off a few of those, but to have a blend that incorporates all of them without going too far in any one direction (or without them just running together into something generic) can be rare. An easy-to-appreciate niche fragrance, which doesn't require "getting used to" as much as other, less-welcoming niches in this category. It has a deep spice and incense, but such a smoothness at the same time. Smells very regal yet not snobby. We really like it!
