Nocturnis was inspired by Ralph Lauren Polo (the original green one), based on the idea of how it would smell if it were done with much higher quality ingredients. It’s described as being “somewhat of a flanker to Fanghorn.”
What we think:
Pineward absolutely nailed the brief here! We can totally see how it’s inspired by Ralph Lauren Polo but with vastly higher quality ingredients. It’s like the difference between smelling a tree-shaped car freshener and an actual tree. It has a bright classy energetic quality to it with the lavender being just prominent enough, and on the other hand a relaxed vibe from the chamomile. There’s also an earthy side to it, and of course above all, very coniferous! Really nicely done.
