What we think:
When reading the notes list, you might think Dincanto looks like it would just be a basic citrus woodsy floral. But there's much more of a balsamic resinous quality to it than we expected. The patchouli, myrrh, and cedar combine into an almost ancient dry accord, in a way that makes it more interesting than it looks. The gardenia has a honeyed quality to it, and combined with the jasmine it gets a bit indolic at times. There's a sweet powderiness from the vanilla and tonka, but in an elegant and subdued way. It smells noticeably niche and high quality, and unisex leaning feminine.
