What we think:
The gasoline note in Ierofante is definitely noticeable - it's very much a 'motor oil' type of accord. But at the same time, it's not quite screaming the way it sometimes is when used in other fragrances. It works really well with the smoky leather, suede, and styrax, and there's a rubbery aspect throughout. The amber and warm spice play off of it too. There's also a resinous quality along with a subtle cashmeran creaminess.
If you're interested in a motor oil note and want something that's a little bit more on the wearable side yet still dark and mysterious, this would be worth trying!
