Sora Dora Broceliande Sample

Our Review:

Broceliande is a fun interesting mix! It smells way more mass appealing (in a good way) than you might think from the wild looking mix of notes. It opens with a citrus-vanilla with some underlying warmth and a kind of caramelized toasted waffle cone accord for us. We love bergamot-vanilla combos, and how the tart citrus plays off a nice creamy vanilla the way it does here. The toasted underlying warmth to it pares with that vibe really nicely too.

Despite having both civet and castoreum, Broceliande is by no means a super animalic fragrance. The rum note also doesn't make it very boozy, but in in more of a nice dessert way, while the scent still has more going on overall than this just being a gourmand. As the fragrance progresses, it gets muskier, in a way that's like a combination between cozy and sexy. As mentioned, the animalic notes are used with a light touch and done artfully.

Overall a more unique take on a gourmand-like fragrance, and we think it smells very appealing!
