What we think:
Mellifera is one of the best honey/bee-inspired fragrances we've ever tried. Somehow, despite this obviously having plenty of honey and similar notes, it doesn't get cloying like a lot of honey fragrances do. We really like it! The civet is perfectly blended so it balances the sweetness, and without going too animalic either. Mellifera is a great combination of unique yet also very mass-appealing in the sense that most people would think you smell nice, yet still very different from everyone else. To us that's the ideal type of niche/indie fragrance!
