What we think:

Mefisto opens in a bright, fresh, and tropical way. The lemon and other citrus really brighten the rose so it doesn't come across as overly dusty/powdery. It's very juicy and smells like being in a garden with some of the sharper greener edges smoothed out. The lavender is also brighter and more modern here than the way it's used in many other niche fragrances, which we appreciate. As it dries down, it becomes more of a creamy woodsy scent.
