What we think:
Yet again, Zoologist manages to take notes that look random and make a cohesive scent that's interesting and unique yet not totally unwearable! To us it opens with an almost high end spa-like vibe, with a surprisingly present lotus note. There's also a dirtiness from the civet. The civet transitions nicely into the incense, while the lighter, airier and bright notes from the opening stick around long enough for the base notes to take over smoothly, without any sharpness or abruptness. It's very well-blended in the drydown, without individual notes standing out as much to me. To us it smells like royalty in a less "dusty" way than the typical regal fragrance.
