What we think:

Idyllwild has a much fresher side than the typical Fougère! The rhubarb tea and grapefruit really make the opening pop, and persist for quite awhile. The lavender is very well-blended and doesn't smell overly old school, herbal, or powdery. The cardamom is also well-blended and doesn't get sharp, just adds a nice rounding spice. The oud isn't animalic or pungent here at all; just a rich woods. Very well done!
