What we think:
There are definitely similarities to the original Elysium - this isn't one of those flankers in name only that smells like a completely different line. But there are noticeable differences as well.
Somehow, it's both greener and bluer than the original. The opening has a greener tang with the way the rhubarb and blackcurrant are, with the astringent fresh grapefruit, along with an icy blue coolness that sticks around and defines the scent. The vetiver here is much less noticeable than the original, and this version is more musky oceanic with the ambergris amped up. There are also bright florals, but not in a feminine-leaning way.
Essentially a high quality take on an ocean fresh meets blue cologne with a bite of green.
