What we think:

To us, Comme des Garcons Black Eau de Toilette is spicy, smoky woodsiness done right. Sometimes with that combination of accords, it can come off as just one big dark mess, or super dour/ancient. The way its blended, though, it has the perfect amount of each side. We can practically see the incense smoke and feel the bark of the woods, sprinkled with vetiver and pepper. Even if you don't normally like licorice, that might not be a dealbreaker for you with the way it's used here.

We find it suave, sexy, and refined, and a "best of" spicy scent.
