"Amber is an oft misunderstood term in perfume. To me, amber is a tree extract readily available for use with a vanillic, balsamic aromatic profile. Baltic amber is a fossilized tree sap from millions of years ago. If you melt it down, there is a deep smoky bouquet that took millions of years to develop. I have used that and built an opulent supporting cast to bring out and preserve this most rare ingredient."
