What we think:

Wow, Amber DeMer is so good! Incredibly well-blended, high quality, and very appealing. It has notes that may look intense, but they're blended in a very wearable way without sacrificing richness. The cinnamon is done perfectly here - it doesn't go too sharp or intense, and has a creamy gourmand tilt in a way, yet without coming across like cinnamon candy the way sweet cinnamon can; more like a cinnamon roll (not that this is a gourmand overall).

The blood orange adds further nuance (though isn't too present) along with the other notes. Nothing gets too sharp or pungent at all, yet somehow it still has endless depth. The orris is also so nice here, and works so well with the amber. There's almost a maple-like quality with the way some of the notes combine here, but not in an overly syrup way. It also has a toasted slightly smoky quality; like a golden toasted warmth. So good!
