Laboratorio Olfattivo Alambar Sample

What we think:

Alambar has a great list of notes, which work so well together. Bergamot is used in almost  everything, but it really works well when it pops prominently in amber scents, even more than other citrus for some reason. It has just the right balance of effervescent tang and freshness to balance the more regal amber. The amber here is a classic kind. We're not saying it smells like Shalimar or Le Lion overall, but more of that sort of vintage style dry amber and not like a modern designer perfume amber that gets super cloying and overly sugary sweet high pitched screechy, at least to us.

The cocoa here is like faint cocoa dusted over it, and not an overdose of chocolate either. Same with the cinnamon, though that and maybe some other notes in here go in a little more of an aromatic direction (almost like a slight chai vibe). Seems like there might be some myrrh in here as well. The vanilla is elegant and swirls out and about more as it dries down.
