Clive Christian Jump Up, Kiss Me Hedonistic Sample

What we think:

Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic is very interesting and smells unique yet has a cozy familiarity to it at the same time. The cherry is very much present, and has a more refined and sophisticated style to it than the usual cherry note (which can sometimes come across as overly youthful and/or medicinal). The tobacco-cherry mix is also smoother here than it sometimes is with other fragrances - it doesn't smell like an ashtray with a cherry on top. Instead, it just adds a dark and mysterious edge.

The opening smells like a combination of a boutique spa and a moneyed country club. As it progresses, it gets more ambery and creamy, and a bit powdery and earthy (though not overwhelmingly so). Although the scent is certainly luxurious and mature, it doesn't feel as stuffy as some other Clive Christian fragrances, which we appreciate.

To us it leans masculine. We would say it's more of a night-time scent than daytime (and it's great for the "date night" category), but it's very versatile in terms of time of year/season/weather.
