What we think:
We love how prominent the mysore sandalwood is in Origin Story! It works well with the vanilla in creating a nice surprisingly clean and smooth/subtly powdery accord, balance by intriguing patchouli. There's an almost vintage (but not at all dated) scent profile to it with the way the spice and florals are done, and the yuzu and blackcurrant don't get too astringent. As mentioned there's also plenty of patchouli - but it's a kind that even many who aren't fans of patchouli may enjoy.
Very well-blended and the scent takes on a life of it's own, more than the notes list!
