What we think:

Mandarino di Amalfi Acqua has a fresh, bracing, citrus green opening, like wearing clean laundry on a bright sunny afternoon standing in a green field. As it progresses, a soapy quality develops in the middle phase, along with fresh spice coming out more, and the aromatic notes continuing to mingle and develop. By the drydown, it takes on a little bit more of a vintage style soapy neroli type of vibe with a tiny bit of underlying darkness.

Basically it's is a classy take on a soapy citrus and green scent, while still retaining the bright happiness and not getting too austere! We like it better than the original Mandarino di Amalfi, which it's similar to but a little fresher. We like it a lot!
