19-69 Villa Nellcote Sample

What we think:

Villa Nellcote is based on a house with an interesting history, to say the least. It's a 19th century mansion in France that was occupied by the gestapo during the Nazi occupation of France, and then (decades later obviously) was where the Rolling Stones recorded their album Exile on Main Street.

The property has a lush garden outside and then a recording studio in the basement level, and the scent is inspired by the contrast. It indeed smells like a contrast of bright citrus and florals with darker and dirtier undertones, though mostly the clean bright side with crisp bright citrus and sunny happy yet elegant florals. There's a bit of a rubbery black tea and kind of leatheriness lurking underneath. Despite all the florals, to us this is easily unisex, and done in a clean way.

Pretty versatile and workplace safe while being a little different than the typical scent of that type!
