What we think:
Encens Chembur is so good! In fact, it's our favorite Byredo ever. To us, it's not very smoky - more of a lemon ginger with warm labdanum/amber, cool frankincense, and very smooth resinous spice. Very well-blended, light and subtle but in an elegant way. If you're looking for a loud scent that will grab someone's attention across the room, that's not going to be Encens Chembur. But if you like the idea of someone thinking "wow you smell good" when they're right up close, this might do the trick!
