What we think:
Desert Rosewood smells like the sun-warmed wood in a cabin. As it develops, a dry vanilla comes out, along with a slightly dusty benzoin, smooth warm spice, and a leather-like accord. The patchouli becomes more and more present as it dries down, but it's the kind we find more tolerable than most patchouli, and less sharp. The citrus is used more to add nuance here rather than this being a "freshie" type of scent. Overall we think if you like rosewood and patchouli done in a smooth, sunbaked woodsy way, worth trying!
