What we think:
La Femme Intense has a surprisingly nuanced/interesting scent profile for being a more affordable designer scent. It's not a typical floral scent - the patchouli adds a darkness, and the mix of florals here is a little different than the ones that are typically used together. It's indolic white floral at times, combined with honeyed banana-y ylang ylang, a tropical touch, and a more woodsy drydown. It has a slight vintage scent profile, though not dated, just in a way that's more interesting than the typical modern cheapie.
