What we think:
Based on the concept of a lone wolf wandering under a full moon in the wild, Loup smells like a smoky animalic with spice and earthy woods. This isn't perfumer Prin Lomros's first fragrance based on the concept of a wild wolf - his other one, Varuek, is one of our all time favorite animalics. This one may have a similar inspiration, but the scent certainly isn't identical. Loup is more spicy and earthy, with a balsamic ambery touch.
The smoked hay and and rubbery leathery style of the oud here work well to create a ferocity, and somehow - to us at least - it still smells wearable. As with most scents by Prin, Loup is extremely high quality, artistically done, unique, and and captivating to smell!
