Creed Absolu Aventus

Our Creed Absolu Aventus review:

Absolu Aventus has major similarities to the original Aventus for the earlier phases especially, but with more warmth, and to us it leans more masculine. The original already leans masculine, but the dark warmth here pushes it further in that direction to my nose.

It has the blue cologne scent profile style of freshness, combined with tart citrus, the classic pineapple note, a melange of warm spices with vetiver and patchouli and oakmoss, and a vanilla-y cashmeran that comes out more by the drydown. This one comes across a little more mature than the original to us with the way the vetiver, patchouli, and oakmoss are done, though still wearable by anyone of any age.

Some people compare Absolu Aventus to Sauvage Elixir, and we can see where that's coming from - it smells kind of like a more refined version of Sauvage Elixir at times. If you like both Aventus and Sauvage Elixir, we think you would like it. Very pricey, but overall does a good job at what it's going for.
