What we think:
We were expecting Domenico Caraceni Eau de Parfum to smell stuffy, but we're actually really impressed by it! It has a classsic vibe, but more in a suave "Cary Grant" way than dated. Very elegant and suave masculine scent. It's clean but with a mysterious darkness to it at the same time. The styrax adds a rubbery leatheriness to it that plays really well off of the geranium and rose. The neroli adds a subtle clean slightly soapy brightness that balances the other accords really well. The cypress adds this calming dark green, with a fresh oakmoss nuance, supported well by the frankincense with it's slowly simmering smoky edges. We love it!
It's our favorite masculine rose fragrance we've tried yet.
