There's something that we find so compelling about Winter of '99, even in a sea of so many other fragrances with these notes! It has an almost resinous quality, with the way the molasses combines with the woods, and a smoked sweetness. The molasses adds an interesting bite to it, and it doesn't get too overly gourmand-y. This isn't some bland vanilla woods type of scent. Nor is it a hardcore smoky one. It balances having a lot of depth and nuance with also being immediately appealing. Nice!
