Nasomatto Sadonaso Sample

Our review:

Nasomatto make some very fascinating fragrances, but they're not always ones we actively like the smell of, even when we're impressed at the quality and creativity. With Sadonaso, though, there's something we find very compelling and addictive about it! It's definitely not for everyone though.

It reminds us of something that Filippo Sorcinelli would do. To us it's like a dry woods with a latex-style leather, sort of resinous benzoin lightly honeyed vibe, and animalic musk (but not in an overly thick or cloying way like any of that might sound). It's almost like all of that is coming through a filter, like the sweat of someone who was wearing the fragrance earlier.

There's sort of a dusty quality to it too, so it almost reminds us of one of those alternative/goth clothing stores with the combination of the sort of leather, latex, and dust, with almost a little bit of sweet incense in the background. We like it!
