What we think:

The style of leather in Cuir Andalou is animalic-meets-suede, with the saffron making part of that accord, and a deep rubbery (though we wouldn't say barnard-esque) oud. There's also some warm spice, and a powdery touch from the iris, along with a slight ozonic vibe from the violet. It's deep dark and intense, but not pungent. Overall smells very high quality and niche!  Unisex leaning masculine.
