What we think:
Vanilla in Bourbon is a really nice well-blended boozy vanilla fragrance with lots of nuance from warm spice, balsamic resinous myrrh, incense, toasted woods, and an ambery side. We really like the way the lemon is folded in where it mixes with the spice and vanilla into a toasted waffle cone-like accord in the background. Not that this is over the top sugary - it's more elegant than that!
All of the notes from the notes list are very present, yet it smells cohesive and smooth overall. This is a lot more than just another vanilla scent, and we think it's absolutely worth trying if you like warm spice, vanilla, creamy lemon, woods, and amber.
