What we think:
Although the name might make it sound like this is some intensely fiery scent, it's really not. The inspiration is actually based on the idea of a jazz club during the Harlem renaissance. Although hearing the term "jazz club" might bring the popular Margiela scent to mind, this one takes a very different approach.
Smoke Show is all about plush leather and saffron, refined pink pepper, rich deep vetiver, very smooth oud and cedar, blended in a way that even many who normally dislike these notes might enjoy. (We also don't find the rose prominent at all.)
The scent is done in a way that's very appealing and wearable yet sophisticated. An excellent combination!
