What we think:
We really enjoy the fresh, bright, happy take on green tea in Monsoon Tea! The citrus is tart, astringent, fresh, and realistic, like there's freshly peeled oranges and bergamot in front of you. The citrus notes last for a surprisingly long time after the opening. The lily of the valley adds a little delicate cleanness, and the musk is cozy and clean too (yet not too sterile).
While the citrus here is tart, the style of the green tea itself isn't bitter to us - it's not like a dense bitter matcha flavor, but much lighter and fresher. The middle phase is the most outright green tea centered. Vetiver comes out by the drydown but the amber never gets too thick.
We would recommend it for anyone who likes the idea of a fresh citrus green tea fragrance!
