DSH Perfumes Odesa Sample

What we think:

Odesa is a really nice take on an aquatic. It has less of an austere, gloomy vibe than a lot of indie and niche takes on aquatics, yet still has the richness and uniqueness that's often missing from designer aquatics. There's a light touch to each note/accord, yet the fragrance itself still feels full-bodied. The petrichor doesn't manifest as being too front and center or earthy, just a nice background touch. The salty ocean is there, but it's not an overdose of it.

This feels like a relaxing, contemplative late afternoon at the seaside, rather than either a beach party or a day out on a boat. Very well-blended, so even though many of the notes here might sound intense (ambergris, labdanum, petrichor, seaweed, wet stone), the combination is not at all offputting.
