What we think:

Secret Tryst is a lot more mass-appealing - in a good way - thanwe thought it would be from some of the notes. We went into it picturing more of a rose and patchouli dominant scent with very dry woods/vetiver and intense spice. But the presence of the vanilla and incense here really make the scent enjoyable to us!

Overall we would say it's very classy, yet in a smooth and approachable way. The saffron gets leathery but in a smooth way like an upscale leather. The scent is very ambery to us as well, in a sweet warm way rather than resinous. The vanilla is smooth and more masculine than usual, kind of like how it is in Mercedes Benz Club Black. We don't really notice the patchouli or rose actually. The vetiver is, to us, the kind that smells like smoky woods. 

Overall very nicely done and a classy scent for fall, winter, and even parts of spring type of weather!
